I hate to dump on the Lotus love in but I struggle to see the value in a near 20 year old car with a four cylinder motor and kit car interior with wires hanging out and an incorrect odometer at £25k.
Dump away. I don't care if you or Rich buy it.
Personally I'd fancy an early V6 Exige too. With 2bular manifolds to release some extra horsies. But they are at least 60% over the stated budget, so....
I like the Komotec set up on HELL SLO

"Whats the lag like"
"Three"
"Tenths of a second? That's alright"
"Minutes"
In a totally unrelated way, our BV20 turbos are about 3/4 that size and the response time is around half a second.

Honestly that's a bit surprising, but not massively - they're likely having a
lot more air pushed into them than a K20 can manage

The 4 cylinder light cars appeal more than the Vx ones which are around 400kg heavier from memory ?
The Evora is a modern Esprit and a 911 competitor.
When you pull up alongside an S1 now, they are so so compact.

Mr Williams has the EX460 kit I believe? Komotec are offering an EX550 upgrade now.... but it's
not cheap

Not quite that - 319kg apparently. I admit that's a lot but the 350 is only 1100kg!!
ETA: which one did Mudge have - was that the 410?

I love how small they are, it's bloody handy.

His first (dark blue) one was an early 350, and his current (black) is a 430Cup.

I would very much like to have a play up in teh highlands in the 911 with you two and the Lotii at some point. Would be much fun. I think Mudge is going to leave us behind however...

yeah, i’m more into S1’s at the moment. Don’t get too excited though, i’m more interested in getting the right one rather than one right now.

That’s a bit selfish don’t you think ?
It’s not just about you, it’s about internet folk having a nice thread to read!

Can’t believe you’ve so callously disregarded my reasonable suggestion to spend twice as much on a car you don’t want.
