That's monthly right?
 To be fair that’s still registered at my parents’ house as it’s only parked in London about 4 weeks of the year and the insurance co are happy enough with that to not care.
Once the ULEZ expands I doubt I’ll bother bringing it unless I need to move something big.

To be honest I was still expecting it to be more as they have a rep for being nicked and for Landies that's as rife in't countryside as it is in the cities.

Maybe the thieves have moved on to the new Defender?

Old Defenders just aren’t as likely to be stolen as they were a couple of years ago.

Maybe they got pissed off with rust in their eyes as they stripped them for parts ?

All of my cars have a shelf that doesn't charge my phone. I survive.
Oh you're ok with it now, but at first you were afraid. You were petrified*.

Quite fancy a few things, maybe a Paceman, a Clubman, 🤷
Shame they never made a sprightly version of the Yeti.

I've given up with practicality.

Been looking at Cooper S Convertibles, my wife loved our Cooper S.

May as well get her something to drive she will love, seen one locally I'll try pop and see.

Can always pinch my dad's Kadjar if she gets stuck.

Alhambra sold as spares, 2014 Citroën C4 replaces it. Wife chose it, drives nicely, was a fair price and is very frugal. Panoramic roof too. Nothing else to report really only that I am well and truly off the evo wagon!

A quick update, as expected the Porsche dealer price was eye watering, plus they (obviously) wanted to do lots of other things while they have the car

There an apparently reputable Porsche specialist not a huge distance away, so I'm having the car trailered over there, having the work done, and saving a wedge of cash as well

The car's going to be gone for a while yet though (the specialist won't get it until this Friday)

What did they quote out of interest? Was that on the basis of an interior out job like the photos?

What is a "normal" hourly rate for a Porsche stealership workshop now? I am guessing around £125 + vat p/h ?

They do seem rather small although my mate fitted his young family in theirs.

Just ordered 2 new front tyres for Jag, £167+vat each for Dunlop SportMaxx to replace the same what are on it.

Will get an alignment done as well as I'm pretty sure it's quite far out.

Tyres are expensive now!

My Merc dealer was charging £120/hr about 8 years ago, so wouldn't be suprised if Porsche are £150/hr now.

2021 330e M-Sport touring had it's 2nd service yesterday at 45k with nothing to report other than being bloody brill as a daily driver.

I was loaned an i4 40 M-Sport for 2 days which was nice. BMW have also delivered one today for me to run for the next two weeks. Portimao blue with oyster leather. It's a very nice car so let's see what it's like to do some mileage in.

The one from Mon/Tues was great. Plenty fast and great at A & B road overtaking. Charged at 162kw on one charger which filled it pretty quick while I did some emails. 69p per kWh though 🤯

It's a lovely thing to hack around in. The new curved display is lovely, but they missed a trick by dropping the old short cut buttons. I like them!

Let's see what they next two weeks brings.
