If someone came to you with a solid investment plan in a company you knew used sweatshops using child slaves (A few kids die here and there, but great returns!) you’d be ok with that?

Thinking about it I refuse to buy British American Tobacco but it's the only one I can remember just saying no to despite it being a good bet for long term stability.

You can actively choose your investments. You choose not to. Not liking crypto is fine, tobacco, rolls royce or war shares too. But you have to realise the folk managing your money put it where's good for you. Funds have been very good to me recently, I have no idea what companies are in them.

That’s a good point - I don’t know exactly what is in mine but I have a feeling Nvidia is, and they feel like the bubble which has caused all funds (along with the world’s largest economy) to be doing OK. Fingers crossed for our ‘safe’ investments too.
