Yeah the FIA aren’t doing themselves many favours to dispel that rumour.....

Reminds me a little of the 80s turbos which had to run a bypass valve to limit boost. Engineers realised they could put bigger turbos on to provide more boost even if some of it was bled off by that valve - but there was no rule against that....

They don’t have to prove it was legal, they have to prove it wasn’t, and for whatever reason they can’t. Didn’t you study law?

That’s how the FIA phrased it themselves.

“ The FIA was not fully satisfied but decided that further action would not necessarily result in a conclusive case due to the complexity of the matter and the material impossibility to provide the unequivocal evidence of a breach.”

Nothing about proving anything legal.

If it's that hard to prove illegal, then I'd say it's a good solution TBH.

Ferrari know they were up to cuntery, the FIA know they were up to cuntery, all the other teams knew they were up to cuntery, but because all the other teams wanted to try and copy the cuntery they didn’t complain properly so the FIA didn’t get to see the cuntery before Ferrari de-cuntified their cars. Bunch of cunts.

That’s the best summary I’ve read!

I still want to see if it’ll be ‘switched back on’, whatever it was they were up to.

Mclaren withdraw from this weeks race after a team member tested positive.

Didn’t Ross Brawn say earlier that they won’t race if every team can’t race?
Edit - nvm, it’s only if a team cannot attend due to travel restrictions.

Just give them some Rich Energy drink and send them back out. They'll be fine.

They’re probably debating the benefits of a free practice session vs a non championship race. Don’t expect a proper race though.

They’ll be trying to find some way of doing something with the cars rather than packing up and going home without turning a wheel

Well it’s officially cancelled now, reading between the lines the FIA wanted it to continue but the majority of teams didn’t.

It’s not right when larger sporting events are cancelling and postponing though.

By all accounts Bahrain is still going ahead - despite Mclaren being unable to make that one too so all the other cars and items are being packed to be shipped there directly.
Odds on it being cancelled hours before practice again? At least there’s no waiting fans to piss off....
