Sorry, missed this. It’s not even a mild hybrid; the charging is the disconnecting alternator being reconnected to top up the battery. I’m sure it would have coasting.

Good point about cruise control; I might do a copycat trip to work at 62mph using the speed limiter in my car to see if I can get to 60+mpg. I’ve always thought BMWs eke out just a bit more economy, and 4wd is always going to hinder me. Current tank average is 49.5ish mpg after driving solely in E mode; done 361 miles with remaining range of 420 showing.

Vito & Cayenne by far the most expensive and more-or-less do the same job so it feels difficult to justify both now. Interesting to note the wife's MINI is barely more expensive than mine despite being faster (Cooper S vs. boggo diesel) and a convertible.

The surprising prices there are that the Vantage and 996 are so cheap considering their performance. I guess they are both on classic limited mileage policies though and the Cayenne, Vito and Mini's all on regular daily sort of deals?

Much smaller than a Yeti though. That's basically a supermini on stilts.

We’re planning to change my wife’s Yeti for something like a BMW X3.
