I have never gone back to a women I have left...
And on one or two occasions, the women left me, then wanted me back but I didn't accept.
I am not a liar, I am an anomaly !!!
Impressively strong-willed (if true )

Nope. Once it's over, it's over. The ones who were friends are still friends but no post break up shenanigans.

Similar. Never gone back to one I’ve left. Did take one back after she’d dumped me.

Yet again, “we’re not doing anniversary gifts” was a trap.

Even if they say that, you've got to find something made of wood or whatever. It was our iron anniversay this year so I was quite tempted to buy an iron... glad I didn't

Viz Top Tip...
Avoid getting into trouble for forgetting your anniversary by not getting married in the first place

One Valentines, before I married ExWife1 we had agreed to not buy presents. Coincidentally, the iron broke and I had to buy a new one. ExWife1 decided to tell everyone that I had bought it for her for valentines day.
"And what did you get me, dear? Fuck all? How thoughtful!"

Years ago our hoover was on its last legs, and as it was close to Valentine’s Day, I bought a new one, wrapped the box and gave it to Mrs mik. She found this far less amusing than I did.

I was - many years ago - dating someone around valentines day and we agreed, explicitly, to not acknowledge it at all, as it's a corporate shitshow.
She then proceeded to moan at me that I didn't get her something. For Valentines day.
That one didn't go any further, unsurprisingly.

It’s my wife’s birthday today, no present or card has appeared from me. I receive the same from her and we do the same for Christmas and Valentines.
When I buy myself a watch or she buys herself a handbag that goes down as an *insert celebration here* present. And cards are just a waste of paper/card

So they do exist

It’s not hard to put a bit of thought in.
Generic card and flowers, meal out on a birthday and random thoughtful gifts throughout the year.
If they moan, just never get them anything unless you ask what they want and give them a budget, they’ll soon stop and if not, keep on walking.
Dave!

We are now going to a hotel tonight.
This is going to put a dent in the Aston fund.
