I’m genuinely surprised tbh
I can’t say I notice a lot pf naked folk in changing rooms, maybe I’m not looking hard enough
I tend to minimise the amount I’m naked in public as much as possible.
Anyway, this is starting to become me feeling compelled to defend trans folk on a car forum full of middle aged dudes. Which I said I didn’t want, so I’m tapping out.

Is anyone saying it is? One of the main issues is that people born with a pair of plums between their legs commit the very vast majority of violence to other people, including rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, paedophilia etc. So how do you square the circle of ensuring that the most vulnerable (old fashioned women and kids) are safe whilst also ensuring that those that want to live their lives as women are also fully able to do so?Gavster wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2024 7:25 am Equally, pointing to a dude who put on a dress and went off and raped someone is not representative of the trans community either.
The grown up conversation about that doesn't seem to be allowed to happen, which is how you end up with 2 extremes shouting at eachother.

Aaw, your autocorrect corrects to me for Beany

Or equally, you end up being accused of being extreme because you don't abide by and agree with, EVERY view of one sideSwervin_Mervin wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2024 11:19 am The grown up conversation about that doesn't seem to be allowed to happen, which is how you end up with 2 extremes shouting at eachother.

Unless you're in a nightclub toilet at 2am, isn't everyone just trying to go about their business? I don't think it really matters, if you're out and about, you often come across challenges with facilities, you've just got to get on with it.
When I'm out with my daughter without the missus it can be interesting, a few times I've had to brave the cubicle in the mens toilets in a busy pub with her (shielding her eyes as we pass through). It's not ideal, but you just get it done.
One of our local swimming pools has open changing rooms and I can confirm that men always walk around them with their cocks out, luckily I've always been with my missus so she could take the little one with her, but there were dads with daughters in there.
The other local one has a full floor of cubicles including family ones, it is much easier. I probably would think twice about taking my daughter to the open plan one.
None of this is really relevant to the conversation probably.

Oh, so far no man has complained to me about my daughter going in the mens with me. Maybe it'll come though.

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..
In my local gym (David Lloyd Bromsgrove) it’s common on weekends for men to bring their daughters into the men’s changing rooms despite a large family changing area. I find it a bit strange to be honest, maybe a country town thing.
Totally different to taking your little one to the loo when there is no other option.

If there's a large family changing area that is indeed weird.MikeHunt wrote: Wed Jul 03, 2024 11:40 pm In my local gym (David Lloyd Bromsgrove) it’s common on weekends for men to bring their daughters into the men’s changing rooms despite a large family changing area. Exit Polls…
Labour - 410
Tories - 132
I was predicting 350/360 vs 170/180 so looming like an even bigger kicking than I thought

Am I the only one thinking the fastest count and the first to announce shouldn’t be a thing.

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..
I find it kind of astonishing that the Tories have been so blinkered that they've driven themselves in to this position. Their whole campaign was based around "we have a plan" and "labour will raise taxes".
Surely if they even had the slightest whiff of self awareness they'd realise that saying that all you have is a plan after 14 years of failure is laughable and making up and trashing policies that they think labour will adopt is just childish.
I'm glad to rid ourselves of this bunch of cunts who clearly can't even read the room of the people they're supposed to be representing.

To be honest, after Brexit and Covid, this was always going to be the outcome. No policy or mandate was going to result in anything else.
I voted labour (first time in the last 4 GE’s ) so let’s see how they fare.

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..
Brexit was 100% their making - no one else to blame for how they've handled it. They shouldn't have put it on the table if they couldn't make it work.dinny_g wrote: Thu Jul 04, 2024 10:51 pm To be honest, after Brexit and Covid, this was always going to be the outcome. As for covid, no one forced them to take advantage of the situation to make all their friends rich. No one forced them to break the rules they wrote. People can and did forgive mistakes, but not contempt, corruption and cronyism.

Although for the local elections a few weeks ago they didn't even start counting our votes till the following late morning - that's taking things too far the other way!

Don’t quote me on this but I think Irish counts start 08:00 the following the next day.
