When people like us start knocking a Busso engined Alfa you know things are grim
Being serious though it's a huge strain mentally, my kids are all out of sorts with the home schooling thing and lack of routine.

Been sleeping in a tent in the garden with the nipper the past few nights. Bit chilly in the mornings (currently -1.8) but sleeping really well, waking up fresh with the dawn chorus and really you do appreciate that first coffee

Plod just drove up our street (quiet residential street), turned round and drove out.
Rounding up kids I reckon
Probably wanting to be seen to be but picking areas where they don't expect to find anything too challenging I'm sure
Hell yeah Evostick... Our street is the absolute worst for Curtain Twitching. 15 minutes after they left, the local Facebook chat group was flooded with posts. Get your kids in etc.

I'm liking this in the comments section:
Some squeaky bottoms over at Imperial this AM I reckon. Re-checking that old spreadsheet: a * instead of "/" in cell ZZ1498, we've all done it ....

Already seen it in the office group chat.
Do you really think that senior Govt and royalty aren't all at the front of the line for testing? They (ostensibly) run the bloody country, it's kinda sensible to do so.

And there goes my first private chat message to someone on a call that was insulting someone else on the call - whilst I was sharing my screen
I may have got away with it. Hopefully he was looking at another machine at the time...

Useful. I was getting a bit worried because my mot is due in June and I need to chauffeur my dad to the hospital weekly. I don't think things will be much better then.

Eh. It's been picked apart quite a bit on twitter. There are quite a few assumptions in the model based on the virus behaviour (e.g. they model a single case coming into the UK and kicking it all off vs multiple entry points as is more likely) and a low illness / serious illness rate (0.1%).
The call in the paper for wider serological testing to better understand the disease is important but has already been said widely elsewhere.
