Hopefully a couple of weeks of this will have an impact.
Coronavirus
Re: Coronavirus
People seem to be taking it seriously now. Local Aldi has max. 30 customers, 1 in 1 out, one way through the aisles and distance even at tills. Also local plod with a checkpoint stopping cars to remind drivers of their obligations
Hopefully a couple of weeks of this will have an impact.

Re: Coronavirus
Rich, just to add to your anger, I left the house today to pick up my car from the garage with it’s fresh service and MoT before it got locked away for 12+ weeks.
I was over the moon that I could retrieve it, then got annoyed when I got stuck behind a car with three old people in going 10 below the limit on a clear road.

My folks went up to Waitrose first thing (OAP hour) and they were just letting in 36 people at a time. Apparently it was well stocked and orderly, which is good. Just hope they listen to the rules now and stay at home.

Plod just drove up our street (quiet residential street), turned round and drove out.

Checked in with me bro - he's furloughed for five weeks, on 80% pay. As he lives really very economically, he's paid up his rent for the next six months, and is planning on pottering about the house, maybe learning some new skills, etc.
So he's ok.
So he's ok.

The first symptom of COVID19 infection is being a cunt.Rich B wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 6:50 pm You can’t survive without food, you can without winter tyres in spring.
The advice is there for a reason, don’t be a dick and just follow it.
Don’t call A&E, they’ll only put you in a corridor with other sufferers.

Hope you didn’t overtake them. You’d anger RichB and make his COVID19 worse.Orange Cola wrote: Tue Mar 24, 2020 7:23 pm Rich, just to add to your anger, I left the house today to pick up my car from the garage with it’s fresh service and MoT before it got locked away for 12+ weeks.

I went up to the Co-Op and bought some Guinness.
Also - I’d never heard the word “furlough” until the last couple of days.

I’d rather be a called a cunt online than be an actual selfish prick who thinks the rules don’t apply to them.
It’s people like you who will push us into full lockdown.

Re: Coronavirus
Apart from Mito, has anyone else had a text from the govt.? The one I got seemed generic, a send to all.
Oh, and people have already been putting 'from a smoke, pet, and COVID19 free household' on ads...
