I agree with you.

One possible outcome (unlikely currently but who knows how that may change): if the MPs vote today not to leave with no deal, could the Art.50 notification be revoked in favour of a negotiated exit?

I still think they'll revoke it (hopefully as a result of the EU to refuse an extension on the grounds of incompetence on our part).

Revoke Art.50. It's not the only way to exit the EU treaties. Do so by negotiation of a proper future long term trading arrangement and leave by mutual agreement.

But they won't. They won't negotiate our departure without Art 50 and they won't negotiate a trade deal until we're a '3rd country'.
