What an absolute pile of cock! Aldi or Lidl kept winning whisky and spirit prizes, proving cost is no reflection of quality or taste. Probably appeal to the special ones with 007 plates on their Astons though.

A guy joined our team a couple of years ago and would happily ruin all sorts of expensive single malts by insisting the only way to drink them was with a shit tonne of lemonade.

That age of Bowmore I think goes for 20-30K easily, so I guess the extra 100% markup is the Aston tax.
