So that's another car that'll never turn a wheel under its own power again. Madness.

Absolutely mental.

Shit US spec too which means it doesn’t get the dogleg gearbox, wrong ratio read diff and viscous fan bolted to the engine as well as their weird front grille. They almost always have the horrible tan interior too over there, but on the plus side they’re usually fully loaded with the big computer, aircon and cruise.

Surprised it’s needed so many wear items replacing with such little use.

Why does the cold start video begin with a chap feeling the exhaust? 😂
How about not having a sig at all?

Tbh I could kind of see a delivery mileage sportevo being worth that, but the more I think about it the more absurd I think it is for ‘just’ a US spec standard model. Not even a very early or late one, and tiny mileage but not low enough to be brand new.

But yeah, probably go and sit in the dark somewhere for another 20 years.

Probably to prove it was actually cold for the cold start, although grabbing the exhaust manifold would have been better proof as tailpipes take a long while to warm up at idle, as does the rocker cover.

I know they’re fairly ‘noisy’ engines, but it sounds pretty clattery. Don’t know if the s52 tensioner they fitted is the same as the e36 s50b32 one everyone here fits.

If anything one with more patina would be a better buy. It’s nice to see prices becoming sensible. :D
I agree.
