Something like that - I definitely don't recommend spending 30+ hours on planes when honeymooning!

Downsizing - a nice idea, started well but they didn't have anywhere to go with the story beyond that so it was a bit dull. Ended in an eco way rather than the expected anarchy of the poor full-size humans stomping on the rich shrunken intelligentsia, which would have been both far more realistic a scenario and far more entertaining to watch.
Daddy's Home 2 - I had wanted to see this at Christmas and that is a more appropriate time than in June, but it was surprisingly OK for what is clearly a cynical cheesy comedy with hammy acting.
Logan Lucky - not great, didn't bother to finish watching
Wedding Crashers - still great after umpteen watches
Den of Thieves - quite long (over 2 hours) and pretty good albeit totally derivative. Basically a GTA heist storyline made into a film, with stereotypical hard-drinking cop whose wife leaves him. Worth watching because it's nicely shot and stylish.
Forgetting Sarah Marshall - I had never even heard of this; my wife suggested watching it before we went on to Hawaii. Really good comedy film and well worth seeking out.
I, Tonya - this was watched on a crap screen on a Delta flight with regular interruptions for announcements; it still seemed to be a decent film. Spoiler: don't watch if you simply want to see a happy ending. Margot Robbie is probably the best actor to have come out of Neighbours.
Early Man - the new Aardman/Nick Park film. Not all that interesting and I turned it off before half way. There isn't an obvious lead character and it seems cynically intended to ride on the World Cup with football themes which don't interest me one iota. Nice animation as usual, shame about the subject matter and story.

I'm sure there were a couple more but I forget what they were now. Surprised the list is as long as that already.
I really liked Logan Lucky - even if it had plot holes big enough to drive a bus through.

I feel the friends I saw it with somewhat looked down on me for enjoying it.

But I'm a simple creature, with simple needs, and I'm easily amused.

I knew I'd forgotten at least one: CHiPS. Much, much better than I'd expected; it acknowledges its campness and runs with it. Really quite decent.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is great, it even makes Russell Brand seem OK.

I remembered another: We’re The Millers. Quite funny and rather surprisingly, I’ve finally liked Aniston who I’ve previously hated in everything she’s done.

Yeah, this was one I watched with no expectations, it was just on TV one night so we watched. I thought it was pretty funny. Jen’s pole dancing was a personal highlight.

Ghostbusters (2016).

Not funny, not scary, not really anything except a bit meh.

A few expected cameos and that's about it for interest.

Did Yu write that?

I watched TLJ again the other day and still thought it was good. I guess my SJW brainwashing goes deep.

Spent this week making some poor choices.

Tomb Raider

So focused on trying to start a franchise they forgot to put much of a story in this one, completely forgettable adventure movie. Made money though so we might see a sequel that's better.

Pacific Rim Uprising

They made Pacific Rim bad. John Boyega does an alright Idris Elba impression.

Den of Thieves

Gerard Butler desperately trying for his own Training Day with a heavy influence from stuff like Heat and The Town. Not terrible just mighty derivative. The end is incredibly dumb.

whereas in the first awful PR film, Idris Elba does an alright “Kirk Lazerus playing a black dude” impression.

watch topic thunder. Rob Downey junior plays an white Australian who plays a black American with a ridiculously over the top southern accent.

Idris Elbas awful acting went the same way every now and then.

Ah, I see. I'm not going to watch Tropic Thunder again so I'll take your word for it :).

Overacting is kind of Idris Elba's thing, I don't mind it.
