I drove some of these roads late last summer after a car-related meet-up towards the East. I was the only joinee from Glasgow area, so it was a solo run. Dry and quiet evening. Had not expected that part of the day/driving to be such fun - it was great.

That’s a good article and has reminded me I really need to discover more of those roads in the Borders, they’re on my doorstep.
