@Jobbo yeah, prefer the brown bezel on the Yachtmaster. It's funny how we react to things in the flesh though. As I said a few pages back, my step-Dad's Rolex with the "salmon" face I'd never have considered, but in the flesh it's a really elegant watch.

You know, I think I generally prefer a black face now. Not sure I can say that. But it makes the whole watch more legible.

I like the look of it. I get an award for 25 years' service - this is one of the things I can select and my watch-mad buddy who started on the same day as me so has the same reward has just selected one of these. Or there are a bunch of other random products or I could get Amazon vouchers and pick something from there. I think I'd like to get something 'special' rather than fritter the amount away on buying coffee capsules or random essential cables off Amazon, which is what I might do with it otherwise.

Like that a lot. Have fancied something-with-orange for a while, and 42mm sounds ideal.

Kind of Matt finish.

But I've never really noticed the bracelet before. That's nasty! The kind of rivet things on the end of the links. Urgh.

That really spoils an otherwise appealing watch IMO

Pressie to myself has arrived. I like it. Nice and simple. Wind up. Feels a bit strange having such a lightweight flexible strap compared to the rubber strap on my SKX007.

Get the Speedmaster Professional
