When I was in Italy at a pizza place this crazy woman did the same heinous crime to a proper Italian pizza! Fuckin mental. Just poured half a bottle of ketchup in a criss cross pattern all over the poor sour dough masterpiece.
How about not having a sig at all?

Honestly if you go to a restaurant round here the size will not be much smaller than that, less chips though.

I think a Whetherby Whaler is a bit smaller than that but still massive. And yeah, less chips.

Ours aren't much smaller than that (lengthways) but about half the width, and a large chips is not much smaller.

I can’t eat huge servings. Our chippy serving probably has a smidgeypoo less chups than McSwede’s, but had two fish. I can never finish it though - which always pleases the dogs.

I was full when I'd finished it and no wastage so it was the perfect size portion. If it were bigger I'd have massively over eaten or wasted it.

The beauty of a chippy is that there's a little bit more than one can manage, but one pushes through and gets it finished because it's so delicious. I also hate cold chips so I always smash it down as fast as possible. :lol:

I think we can find a north/south agreement that covering the whole thing in sauce like that is just wrong.

Curry sauce?!? And Ketchup. When combined with the blood splatter approach, that’s all the signs of a proper maniac.

I wondered what on earth was wrong with the picture (apart from the tiny fish), but its the bloody curry sauce that was throwing me off.

I’ve found southern chippies to be over priced and under portioned.

One of my favourites is sweet and sour chicken from the Chinese and a portion of chips from the chippy next door, it’s heavenly.
