(Grammar) n4zi test

Post by mik »

Someone sent me a link to this.

It’s not remotely friendly - had to note all my answers and then check them. It was like 80’s again.

I got 4/10.

Spoiler
Question 3 is nonsense, there's no way anybody in the real world would derive a gender from that.

9/10 - I got the might/may one wrong, but reading it again I was distracted by the ugly proximity of 'turning' and 'turn' in their example sentence

With no.3, if you simply think to yourself what the logical next few words may be: ", the brother who does", then it's straightforward.
It couldn't be 'my sister who does' so it has to be a male sibling.

I also got 9. Got number 8 wrong.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.
