RIP Ian Holm

Post by Ascender »

... he's died at the age of 88.

Quite the career and will always be Ash in Alien to me, but I guess the LOTR and Hobbit movies will be his lasting legacy for many.

The scene where he gets tempted by the ring and does a scary face, still makes me jump

I never realised he was that old.

Borrowers for me.

RIP. He always seemed to bring something to the films and TV he was in for me. He was short, so maybe that's why I identified with him!

Yep 8-) I can't put my finger on why but I remember him most from The Fifth Element.
I'm another who didn't realise his age. R.i.p..
