:( Was sad to see this. Lived fairly local to me growing up, and I only ever heard positive things about him. Also enjoyed his commentary over the years. RIP.

Yes heard this today and is a little upsetting. Played with him years ago (I almost turned pro when I was 16 but in the end decided I wasn’t good enough) at Terry Griffith’s club in Llanelli and they were wonderful days. He and my uncle look quite alike and the latter would get mistaken for him all the time. It was like playing with twins :)

RIP, the snooker commentary hasn’t quite been the same for me since the BBC dropped him. Not sure how I’ll feel about it at all now.
