Re: Pressure Washer Recommendations
I bought a Karcher last year and it's been fine. Think it was about £90.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.
Re: Pressure Washer Recommendations
Always had a karcher, they usually last 5 years but that’s pretty heavy use. I do find that they lose power over the years, maybe it’s the impeller getting worn and thus not as efficient?
The last one had that stupid smart lance which automatically adjusted pressure based on what attachment you had but it didn’t work with a snow foam attachment as it always put it on minimum power so binned that and stuck the old manual pressure adjusting one on and it works well now.

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Pressure Washer Recommendations
Specs of the K4 and the Nilfisk I suggested are v similar.
K4 is 130bar and 420l/hr
C125 is 125bar and 460l/hr
I can’t see any evidence to suggest that Karcher are better made or more reliable to justify the extra cost, so focus on the attachments that attract you.
I use the Lance with different nozzles. Have a 30m self propelled drain clearer hose which is simple and superbly effective. And a patio cleaner head thing that does the same job as the lance, but without you getting soaked or covered in crap. I don’t desire any of the brushes n shizzle, but you might.
Or just pick the prettiest colour.

TBH at the moment I'm only thinking about car and patio, but I guess other things will be as and when they come up.mik wrote: Wed Jun 10, 2020 1:27 pm Specs of the K4 and the Nilfisk I suggested are v similar.

mik the one you posted from Costco seems to come with every attachment under the sun anyway. Might just go for it.

Re: Pressure Washer Recommendations
Another Nilfisk vote here, mines ancient, still working, mostly used for patio cleaning but that means sustained use when it is pressed into service.
Re: Pressure Washer Recommendations
No more anecdotes or recommendations please, I've gone with mik's recommendation. I'll add it to his baked bean tab if it's shite.

Re: Pressure Washer Recommendations
Get a proper snow foam lance too, they're only about £20 and even if they don't add much to the cleaning they're fun
The standard included ones are useless.

Re: Pressure Washer Recommendations
The Autoglym one gets good reviews, but is quite expensive. I bet it's exactly the same as various unbranded Chinese ones on eBay for half the price.
