Coronavirus
Re: Coronavirus
I think as we aren't seeing these emergency hospitals full average Joe public is starting to believe it's a massive overreaction.
50 percent of deaths in the eu are in care homes yet we aren't including them.

Not only journalists, a portal of communication to the entire country, containing the very people who thought that the ‘tide pod challenge’ the ‘break your own thumb ligament challenge’ and the ‘skullbreaker challenge’ were all just a hilarious bit of fun for likesZedLeg wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 1:51 pmThere’s definitely nothing concerning about an important world leader asking whether their scientific advisors are looking into injecting people with disinfectant in front of an audience of journalists![]()

To be fair on old Trumpy, drinking a litre of bleach would stop the effects of Corona.

Do you spend your time trying to justify the stupidity of all people, or is it just Trump? What do you think you’ll actually achieve by trying to normalise the verbal diarrhoea of someone that several doctors believe has a form of dementia?Broccers wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 2:34 pmEven so it's still a question.ZedLeg wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 1:51 pmThere’s definitely nothing concerning about an important world leader asking whether their scientific advisors are looking into injecting people with disinfectant in front of an audience of journalists![]()

Except, despite being posed in the form of a question, it was a clear suggestion. And it was monumentally, painfully stupid.Broccers wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 3:12 pmNowt just stating a fact.NotoriousREV wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 3:06 pmDo you spend your time trying to justify the stupidity of all people, or is it just Trump? Re: Coronavirus
That’s a very good observation, it might explain a lot about the reaction. I think up in Scotland the numbers are relatively low which is also giving a false sense of everything being ok. When out for the shopping today I had to twice ask people to back off in queues in shops - idiots.Broccers wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 2:37 pm I think as we aren't seeing these emergency hospitals full average Joe public is starting to believe it's a massive overreaction.

One positive thing to come out of the corona lockdown is that The Rolling Stones have released a new song which they were working on before this all kicked off and its pretty damn good.
Cheers,
Mike.

We’ve just came back from a walk, there was a few people about but no one seemed to be taking the piss. Roads are still really quiet as well. Barely any traffic on the two big roads nearby.

Re: Coronavirus
I went out to collect a new bike for MrsREV from Halfords and had to queue for an hour, but everyone was very good at distancing.
Once I’d built her bike, we went out for a ride round the local park and along the canal and it was properly busy. Busier than I’ve ever seen it pre-lockdown, in fact.

A few about on bikes today round here including us. I can’t really judge because I usually ride solo in the early evenings so it’s going to be much quieter then anyway. Everyone did their best to keep distance. Their were a couple groups of lads/young men out who were quite obviously not from the same families probably thinking sod it.
Re: Coronavirus
Bike sales have apparently gone mental. I was always planning to replace my daily on the cycle to work scheme in may and selected and provisionally reserved one as they had a cracking deal on it. Well 2 weeks to process the voucher and it sold and shops have stopped discounting bikes. Evan's apparently has an 18 day wait for delivery

Re: Coronavirus
She made me buy her a traditional shopping bike thing a few years back. She hated it but wouldn’t admit it and carried on using her ancient Carrera Subway. We sold that last week, having literally being ridden twice. She does seem to really like this one, though.Rich B wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 5:47 pmexpect that bike to now go into the garage and never emerge again!NotoriousREV wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 5:01 pm I went out to collect a new bike for MrsREV from Halfords and had to queue for an hour, but everyone was very good at distancing.

Went for a walk around the block today, families walking 4 abreast and almost half the cars on the road were speeding and/or texting whilst driving

I don't know how to start attempting to take this out of contextBroccers wrote: Sat Apr 25, 2020 9:50 am You have to say the media take him out of context so often its quite possible to believe he didn't say some stupid things. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me.
How would you misinterperet that Broccers?
The Evo forum really is a shadow of its former self. I remember when the internet was for the elite and now they seem to let any spastic on

From your own link
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. So I asked Bill a question that probably some of you are thinking of, if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that too. It sounds interesting.
Note the word asked.
He then followed on with
ACTING UNDER SECRETARY BRYAN: We’ll get to the right folks who could.
THE PRESIDENT: Right. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. So we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s — that’s pretty powerful.
Note the 'and is there' part which is also a question.
Don't worry I don't support his ideas just make sure you read about and maybe watch situations rather than believing what the MSM pump out which is then repeated ad nauseum across all social media... a bit like you have Dave
Re: Coronavirus
The point isn’t whether he’s asking or suggesting but that both questions are so incredibly stupid that they shouldn’t have needed to be asked in the first place.
There’s no big conspiracy to discredit him. He’s so stupid and corrupt that he does all the work himself.
