I made the same mistake or the website was wrong when I looked earlier.

Peak, yes, but they’re visible from yesterday for the next few days.

Quite dark n clear here.

Spotted the ISS when we were waiting for them, then saw 8 in a row. Very difficult to get a steady image with binoculars but that gave a much better view of the movement.

Cool 8-) thanks! :D

I saw 25+, but only in a train of 3 at the most with big gaps in-between. Pretty cool, might try and photo them tomorrow.

Thinking about it I might have to set an alarm for tomorrow, Mik really should be on the case reminding me to do that...

Did you set your alarms? If not, set them for 10:30, there're at it again coming west heading north.

Earlier was epic. I saw a string of around 30, 42 things altogether. Whether or not they were all the same thing I don't know, I'm pretty sure none were meteorites, and the last one went at 90° to the others which seemed odd.

Or maybe 10:04, apparently. Will pop outside at both times because why not.

Happened again a mo ago. I'm sure when I looked on the ISS tracker t'other night after you mentioned it that it won't be visible until the 29th :? I need to find out more about the meteor shower but nothing I've seen so far has faded out like I'd expect from that. I don't think it was a plane either because I couldn't see any nav lights but if a plane was v.high would you see them with the eye?
Time for the next ones...

“ There is a chance that tonight's 10:34pm/April 21 timing may not be visible (or appear 30 mins before the predicted time, i.e. at 10:04pm). Many reports of failed sightings were received yesterday (April 20). Possible causes: too long after sunset, or satellites being turned by their owner. Still being investigated, sorry! Please try at your own risk. ”

Eh? Fucking Elon musk turning them satellites round to troll us?!

I didn't see owt at :34 apart from whatever is going SE to NW again. I'll have to find out what it is but I don't know if I cba, I just wanted to go out and look at the pretty lights*, not think about anything. I might not have seen them because there was a cloud/trail going in the same direction they were. It wasn't there 5/10 mins before...

*or sparkly space shite.
