Post by dinny_g »

In case you missed it last night, they're visible again tonight around 10:00.

Exact timings and where to look, per location can be found here.

I had not even heard of the Starlink system.

I shall set alarm to remind me to venture outside to have a look for said experience.

I think you should set an alarm to remind yourself, you wouldn’t want to miss it.

Well I saw 4 in a row but very spaced out, not much of a train, had enough after 10 mins of freezing wind. There’s so much crap in the sky now, you see satellites moving in every which direction. Wasn’t like that back when I were a boy...

Today, ok the website says 9:59pm now. Maybe I looked at 19th April but I’m sure it doesn’t show past ones. Maybe I’m going crazy.

Went out. Clear sky. Compass pointing me in the right direction. No sign of it, nor from my socially distant neighbour.

Saw 2, very faintly. We did, however see a meteor from the Lyrid shower, very bright.
