The uk hasnt been counting anything properly - its all about controlling the small man this I really think so.
Didn't you think the same about the EU? Who do you think is pulling the strings this time?

No - the statisticians have been based outside of the hospitals for some time now.

Except that this morning the ONS did release figures for people dying outside of hospital, and they said that as of March 20th there were 40 more deaths than had previously been reported, owing to the fact that they counted those outside of hospital.

What I'm wondering about is those who don't go into hospital with C19, but end up catching it in hospital and subsequently passing away.

The man. Funny how food hasn't dried up as imports are more and more restricted Via air freight. But that's another topic.

I developed the cough last night, it's become persistent today and my temperature is rising.

I'm now self isolating from my kids. :(

Don’t be afraid of calling 111 if you deteriorate. Let them decide if you’re ill enough for treatment. GWS.

My day of looking after my little boy has been much easier today after we faked my wife leaving for work. He was struggling with the concept of my wife being in the front room but not “wanting” to see him. She got dressed, got in the car and drove round the corner before sneaking back in this morning.

He’s been immeasurably happier, which means I’ve had none of the whining that came with wanting to see mummy!

Yep, we've had to do the same thing

It's amazing how fast your day goes looking after children rather than working!

I notice that the government graphs shown today define Day 0 as the first day of 50 deaths. drcarlos you need to have a word with Michael Gove.

I might have to do the same thing to the wife. She struggles with the concept of me being in my home office but not 'wanting' to see her.

The figures always seem to dip at the weekend for some reason, whether it's something to do with how the figures are recorded / data updated?

It's to be expected though, if ours follow the trend elsewhere it'll be over 600 a day by Friday.

Given the whole appendix thing, I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on this. Especially as I live on my own.
