At least we can build snowmen responsibly, although i can see it encouraging massive groups of sledgers if it settles.

How do you think that works when you don’t believe it’s safe to drive somewhere in a car on your own?Rich B wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2020 10:00 am Surely after 3 weeks everyone will be taking it seriously enough to then ease up enough to get back to work but maintaining social distancing practices?

so the wheels magically jumped into your car without you stopping then?Jobbo wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2020 10:54 amHow do you think that works when you don’t believe it’s safe to drive somewhere in a car on your own?Rich B wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2020 10:00 am Surely after 3 weeks everyone will be taking it seriously enough to then ease up enough to get back to work but maintaining social distancing practices?
I'd love to think so but don't think this will be the case. I think we'll get locked down and mass business closures will happen. We'll be at home for quite some time I'd say. Hopefully I'm incorrect!Rich B wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2020 10:00 am Surely after 3 weeks everyone will be taking it seriously enough to then ease up enough to get back to work but maintaining social distancing practices?
Then again, we’ve seen the stupids who can’t manage basic rules now.
No, the chap (wearing gloves) put them outside while I was in the car and then I put them in the boot, also while wearing gloves.Rich B wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2020 1:01 pmso the wheels magically jumped into your car without you stopping then?Jobbo wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2020 10:54 amHow do you think that works when you don’t believe it’s safe to drive somewhere in a car on your own?Rich B wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2020 10:00 am Surely after 3 weeks everyone will be taking it seriously enough to then ease up enough to get back to work but maintaining social distancing practices?
Yep, lockdown until June and social distancing for ever more.NotoriousREV wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2020 1:30 pm If the news is right today, they’re obviously preparing us for a long period of lockdown.
Prepare to share close space with some caffeine comedown bundles of misery for a few days! I skip a coffee in the morning and it's a shitty headache by lunchtime. They'll have learned their lesson about moderation and addiction by then hopefully.NotoriousREV wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2020 2:34 pm My kids are about to learn a harsh lesson in rationing. The pair of them have somehow managed to get through a 15 pack of Coke 330ml cans since Friday. They’re on tap water until next Friday when MrsREV does her next shop. I don’t even know how they managed it. Dickheads.
Same to you, and cheers everyone else.Simon wrote: Sat Mar 28, 2020 9:02 pm Thanks Mike and Dinny, and sorry to hear about your GF's Dad 240pp.

I've run every day for the last few years and I've noticed a lot more people out exercising since the lockdown. Can't help wondering if people have mis-interpreted the guidelines and are thinking they MUST exercise once a day or they'll get fined £60.
