Think about how stupid the average person is. Then remember that half the population is more stupiderist than that.NotoriousREV wrote: Mon Jun 04, 2018 7:07 pm “Remoov my detales”

It's the ones that have read a newspaper article that says they can have all their details removed, which only applies under certain circumstances. You probably really don't want me to delete your details from our system if you actually intend on checking into that hotel you've paid for.Jimmy Choo wrote: Tue Jun 05, 2018 8:46 amThink about how stupid the average person is. How much kiddie pr0n do you think he had on his phone?Richard wrote: Tue Jun 12, 2018 6:55 pm Had a chap at work today, who’s phone had gone faulty-ish. We offer a free repair service during the warranty period, as is the industry standard
He said that because of the new GDPR regulations, we couldn’t send his phone off for repair because... “I must be with this phone at all times. It cannot leave my sight”
He also added that if he were to give me (Internet personality Richard) the phone to repair, I (Internet personality, Richard) would be totally and personally responsible for every byte of data on there, and that it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to secure that data
He said that from now on he’ll not be buying from our shop because of this. I’m guessing that from now on, he’ll only be buying phones where the shop allows him to personally travel with the phone on the week long trip to and from their repair centre, and allows him to sit there as they company repairs his phone?
It’s Article 15 of GDPR. That’s how it relates to GDPR.Jobbo wrote: Wed Sep 12, 2018 3:24 pm And how does a Subject Access Request relate to GDPR, since it pre-dates GDPR by two decades?
Idiots that don't understand GDPR indeed![]()
