6 Nations
Re: 6 Nations
Eng Sco was the best game of rugby I've ever watched.
I can't wait for the World Cup now.

Re: 6 Nations
Sadly I only saw about 15mins. Saw the last 10mins of the 1st half and first 5 mins of the 2nd half thought "ah well, probably not worth watching the rest, I'll get the nipper to bed". Came down to see Ford scoring!ste wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2019 10:14 am Eng Sco was the best game of rugby I've ever watched.

Great try by May having just said that. Too late tho I reckon
Re: 6 Nations
France looked organised, surprising what a new coaching set-up can do in a couple of months.
Sean Edwards is basically a coaching God in Wales, hopefully we won't regret letting him go.

Re: 6 Nations
I read this thread as if it was a new one - the first few posts about how superb England were had me very confused until I noticed the date!
Re: 6 Nations
School boy error not playing the whistle when Lawes knocked it back and that has ultimately cost them a draw at least.
Re: 6 Nations
First half - no idea what they were doing - second half - didnt watch as thought listening to a terror episode on my headphones in the gym was less painful.
Re: 6 Nations
They were slightly more competent and Jonny May put a pin in a Lions wing spot.Broccers wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2020 6:42 pm First half - no idea what they were doing - second half - didnt watch as thought listening to a terror episode on my headphones in the gym was less painful.

I didn't watch Saturday's game, and I know Wales are pretty good these days, but did Italy just stand around sipping coffee or what?

Re: 6 Nations
Similar competent Wales of recent years but we kicked less ball away and attacked ball in hand a lot more. Pretty much what Pivac has coached at the Scarlet's.ShockDiamonds wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2020 12:07 pm I didn't watch Saturday's game, and I know Wales are pretty good these days, but did Italy just stand around sipping coffee or what?
5 tries to nil is a good start. Bookies had Wales as 4th favourite to win the 6 Nation before the weekend.

Re: 6 Nations
Wales are always underestimated for some odd reason.
Re: 6 Nations
Unless something radical happens in the next 5 days they're going to tear Ireland a new one on Saturday...

Re: 6 Nations
Or perhaps not.
Wales didn’t fire today but no matter - Ireland are 2 for 2.
Happy enough

I was just happy to get through that Scotland game. I think England were the better team, but one of those games that could go either way with the conditions etc.
Re: 6 Nations
Missed most of the first half, but it wasn’t very good viewing. Not just cos of the result.
Re: 6 Nations
Not a classic weekend of rugby. The weather played as much of a part as the players.
That's 2 games in a row that Scotland could have won
