Re: Lego
I’d imagine they’ll sell well on a worldwide scale, given Man Utd have fans on every continent. £250 seems steep though. As it’s creator expert rather than architecture is it same scale as the buildings?Jobbo wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2020 6:44 am Old Trafford architecture set looks appalling. Is there much of a crossover of Lego fans and Man U fans?

I saw that this morning and I think the problem is that Old Trafford may be a legendary football ground, but its pig ugly from the outside. To be fair, they've replicated it pretty well.Jobbo wrote: Tue Jan 14, 2020 6:44 am Old Trafford architecture set looks appalling. Is there much of a crossover of Lego fans and Man U fans?
There's a demand for anything with the Man U badge on it all over the world so I get the logic.

Re: Lego
I can see the appeal of stuff like the defender, I was having a play with my BILs one at the weekend. But that one doesn’t look particularly clever/detailed/attractive to build or even very big.

I think if you have some connection with ISS I can understand it, but yeah this leaves me cold. I did buy the lander set though, so my opinion is pretty worthlessRich B wrote: Tue Jan 21, 2020 7:15 pm I can see the appeal of stuff like the defender, I was having a play with my BILs one at the weekend.
