New old car
It's X reg.
It's got headlight wipers.
It's over twice as powerful as the mini.

Re: New old car
I've not had an Alfa for 10 years! I had my E46 for longer than I had my 155 and 166 combined!
I also can't think of any Alfas with headlight wipers.

Re: New old car
I’m hoping for a BMW E21 or E28. Not sure either make twice the power of the mini though, unless M5.

Re: New old car
My Step father has just bought a nearly new V40 to "see him out". I hope they last a very, very long time. I'm getting his current car.

Ooh! that would be nice but I meant the Xreg from 2000/01, not 81/82.

We have a winner!
X reg 9-3 Aero hatchback. I'm driving it at the moment. The brakes are utterly shocking, the handling is definitely woolly but it's much, much more comfortable than the Mini and it's got Turbot.
It's also blue.
Now, would anyone like to buy a Mini One Clubman?

Round and shiney. I'm going to get the brake fluid changed along with the rear bushes.

Ah, that was self inflicted though. FYI, the bloke who very kindly pushed my Alfa out of the lake also suffered the same fate as me. Do you know what car he had?Jimmy Choo wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 1:32 pmOf course, your alfa was no trouble at all...
A Saab.

Problem solved! I was gifted it 3 years and 53,000 miles ago from my ExMIL and I've gifted it back to her.
