TBF I wouldn't let a kid watch Deadpool. I liked the first one way more than I thought I would as I've never been a big Deadpool fan, not really in any big hurry to watch this one though.

Back in your basket, Nathan!

Deadpool is definitely not one for the kids. Well not for any below 15.

That doesn't work quite as well when I was being sarcastic in the first place. :D

Anyway, in short, Deadpool 2 is a rare "sequel better than original", although now I've written that, I can think of loads of sequels that were better than the originals...

Pacific Rim 2

Twenty minutes in and it's like a low budget cartoon fan fiction of the first film.

I'm going to watch the rest just out of morbid curiosity.

Deadpool 2 was fantastic. It was genuinely laugh out loud funny and absolutely not for children.

It's ok to like Deadpool. It a film for adults. Not like the most of the rest of the fairly turgid Marvel yawn-fests. It definitely shows that Renolds has an unhealthy obsession with it as well :D

That was fucking terrible. Don't waste your time.

2/10 and that's only because the film is functionally competent from a techincal standpoint - but no more than that.

Red Sparrow

This got horrible reviews, didn't it? Must admit I have no idea why, I really enjoyed it. A good old-fashioned Mother Russia vs The U S of A, spies, violence, a tremendous performance by young Jennifer including a quite surprisingly casual attitude to gratuitous nudity - what's not to like?

It was over two hours long though, isn't this unforgivable or something as per recent nonsense on this superhero movie thread?

Looks spot on according to the rules.

a) a superhero movie - 2 Hours
b) a thriller, - 3 Hours
c) a comedy - 90 mins

A standard speed VHS can only do 2 hours. Predator (1hr 47mins) was made when VHS was around, therefore I conclude that that is all that is needed.

I agree with Rich, Predator is the only movie the world needs. All others should be incinerated.

That isn't true at all  - 3 hours was normal. But yes, I take your point.

Rather like 45 minutes being the correct length for an album so it fits on one side of a cassette.
