Aren't you underestimating the 48%? Especially since a couple of the retired leave voters have probably died now while a few young remain voters will have come of age. Add to that the swing leave voters who have now realised how much of a shit show it is and will continue to be.

The only party with a clear message on Brexit if you're a remainer is Lib Dems as far as I can tell, they've potentially got a great opportunity to make up ground on the others I reckon.

Whether that encourages a hung parliament I don't know, but I would not be surprised to see my constituency swing cons to lib dems.

It was said a day or so ago on here that there are now different manifesto commitments from different parties:

Tory: leave with Boris's deal
Labour: second referendum
Lib Dem: revoke Art.50 and remain
Brexit Party: leave with no deal

I don't see how any of those can comfortably coexist in a coalition.

They can't campaign on a coalition though, because they won't want to lose their core vote. The truth is a deal will be done afterwards.

Have they? I could see many people who voted remain saying that they'd like a quick exit just to get this over and done with. If they were offered a vote towards revoking Article 50 in an election though, I think that's where they'd go.

I think it's pretty hard to predict this election, will be interesting.

I wouldn't be overly confident if I was any particular party.

As I think has been said here before, this country at it's heart is fairly centrist, at the moment neither of the two main parties are offering this position.

Judging by how the last few years have gone, we'll probably end up accidentally voting Tommy Robinson in as prime minister or something.

I think it's pretty hard to predict this election, will be interesting.

It's easy enough to make the prediction I made earlier - the only party which can win outright is the Tories, but I think it'll end up with a hung Parliament again. Very hard to predict who will form a coalition,

My concern is that Labour’s position still sounds muddled (go for yet another deal followed by a 2nd ref?) plus many left-of-centre folk genuinely don’t like Corbyn. The LibDems may well see a surge, but it won’t translate to seats and will just undermine Labour votes for the most part. So I do see the Conservatives gaining a majority, even if the popular vote goes towards Remain parties over Brexit parties.

It all comes down to how the seats split out. The system favours the big 2 heavily in traditional GEs. I can't see how the Tories can walk it tho without some sort of deal with TBP

How important the Brexit Party is comes down to whether Brexiteers are happy with the Johnson Withdrawal and how upset they are by us failing to leave on 31st October. The mood on social media doesn’t seem to be particularly angry towards any of that so I don’t think the BP will play a big role.

So on this occasion I am going to read, re-read and then read again, anything and everything I can get my hands on with regards to manifestos and policies. I guess I've been a bit lazy in years gone by and just voted Conservative because I've always had doubts that Labour really know how to run the economy, plus life is generally pretty good hence why change.

But times are now very different. I made a mistake voting leave. Awful decision as I've said before. Didn't have the info available and didn't make enough of an effort to find it. I don't want to leave Europe, therefore I am going to be seriously tempted to vote for whomever gives the best/most ideal route to remain in Europe. Does that mean I may vote Labour on this occasion? Quite possibly, as much as I hate that idea. Corbyn as PM? God no, bloody awful idea. But the lesser of two evils. And an important point at least to me, is the fact that I voted to leave Europe. I didn't vote for a No Deal Brexit. Because that wasn't a thing at that point, the phrase didn't exist so far as I can recall. But the last couple of years have really informed what a crappy idea it really is so even if a party now declares they will deliver Brexit with a deal, I'm really not sure I want it.

Going to be fascinating to see how this one pans out. Not even sure how a hung Parliament and coalition would work, given how disparate the views are of the parties in question.

i agree, I also can’t see people Being as happy to do a “fuck you” protest vote for the Brexit party like they did in the MEP elections as the winner of this would have to do more than just Brexit.
