Magnificent work as always ste. 8-)

They do look great with the aeroscreen, I've got the fixing points for one so I'll have to invest at some point.

There are a great many things for me to learn in your post and questions, but I won't bombard you with them all now. :D

Never has a word so aptly described me! 😆

On holiday and just finished reading that brilliant post with a couple of beers, ta for that Ste :D

Epic job, and I love the colour! If I ever repaint mine it'll be a similarly bright orange. I still have a picture I got at a motor show years ago of one of the first Superlights in that shade. Always thought a wild car deserves a wild colour 8-)

EDIT - seems it might be Superlight001 8-)

Ok I will ;):

How difficult would it be to swap the filler cap? Mine is a silver one at the moment but I've been wanting a black one like yours as it matches the rest of the car better. I've just been a bit scared of unbolting it to look in case I cock something up (this is a general theme of mine for anything to do with working on cars).

Also, with TSK you obviously did a lot of work with the car assembly before and after the respray. Could you pay TSK to do this? Or do they expect it to come to them ready for spraying? Same goes for if I bought some new rear arches, and if it needed any chasis work. Would make sense to get it all sorted and resprayed in a oner but don't know if they do this or have a friendly local garage that would?

Great update Ste - I think my favourite thing you did, is swapping over the Caterham badge for a black sticker version 8-)

Porsche exhaust hangers arrived from the States so I can get the car back together on Saturday (hopefully) ready for an Autosolo at Kempton on Sunday.

Also some Collinite 845 for my recently-refurbished wheels. I've never used wheel wax before.

You can all GTF with your updates because this one wins. The RS4 badge on the steering wheel went bye bye ages back and I finally around to fitting a replacement :

Crazy talk.

Anyway - given your expenditure recently I guess another $120 is a rounding error :?

Scarily I didn't know what you were referring to at first. Yes it's been a costly few months / years / life. The boat had a £3k repair bill on Tuesday! Three new injectors at $1k each plus other shit plus labour * facepalm *

What to do. Wanna play, gotta pay.

330 booked in for the recall that's been all over the news. Hopefully after 12yrs and 108k miles it won't suddenly decide to burst into flames in the next month while it waits to be done.
