If they play like that again, they'll be a match for anyone.

Cracking performance. Curry and Underhill (Factory Trained in Wales) have added so much to Englands defence and breakdown work.

Re: RWC Japan
I don’t think Australia played well. Never doubt their effort levels, but they need to rethink their tactics. They certainly need a better exit strategy, maybe BoJo can help them out!
England were solid in defense. It was more obvious at the try line, but there seemed to be very little nervousness and that calm is a great base to play the game how you want to play it.
And Kiwidave, with comments like that, we’re glad you left too!

I had two pints of Ribena.
I did manage to munch through a whole packet of Sensations though... never good.
Re: RWC Japan
Hopefully Ireland can beat the All Blacks.
Re: RWC Japan

Looks like men against boys sadly. I had hoped to see more of a contest. I just hope we don't go get a spanking
Re: RWC Japan
Yeah, doesn't look like fun playing those boys! England are a better side than Ireland at the moment, but they'll have to play at 100% to beat that.

England will struggle against New Zealand if today is anything to go by. Looking forward to the Wales match tomorrow, they have a score to settle with France.

interestingly NZ beat Ireland by exactly the same margin that England beat Ireland by 2 months ago.Orange Cola wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2019 3:14 pm England will struggle against New Zealand if today is anything to go by. The NZ gameplay was just on another level today, if they keep that up for next week then England will need to pull something really special out the bag to beat them.Rich B wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2019 3:34 pminterestingly NZ beat Ireland by exactly the same margin that England beat Ireland by 2 months ago.Orange Cola wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2019 3:14 pm England will struggle against New Zealand if today is anything to go by. As long as France and SA get knocked out I will be happy, I’ve been supporting England, Wales, Japan and NZ throughout and I think they’ve all played cracking games at some point along the way

Yep. France and SA won’t get to the final if they do win tomorrow. Wales could and Japan just deserve it.Rich B wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2019 5:12 pmHedging your bets...Orange Cola wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2019 4:49 pmThe NZ gameplay was just on another level today, if they keep that up for next week then England will need to pull something really special out the bag to beat them.Rich B wrote: Sat Oct 19, 2019 3:34 pm interestingly NZ beat Ireland by exactly the same margin that England beat Ireland by 2 months ago.
