Got it. I wonder if Ferrari are trying to push for a WDC next year before the rule changes come in. Lewis will also know next year is his last good chance at another WDC before the uncertainty of 2021 comes in.

i’d hope they’d be pushing for a WDC every year.Orange Cola wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 1:50 pmI wonder if Ferrari are trying to push for a WDC next year before the rule changes come in.

Well that was some of the worst camerawork this year. We didn’t even see the pole lap...
Wonder if Vettel will just storm past Hamilton on the start tomorrow for another Ferrari 1-2.

Re: No F1 thread?
The Ferrari unit is an absolute beast on the straights - Charles had a really messy third sector but the straight line speed still gave him pole.

Of course. But would they move resource around to developing to the 2020 car at the expense of the following year...Rich B wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 2:00 pmi’d hope they’d be pushing for a WDC every year.Orange Cola wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 1:50 pmI wonder if Ferrari are trying to push for a WDC next year before the rule changes come in.

Re: No F1 thread?
2021 will be the year of budget restrictions won’t it? In theory the teams should be closer and someone such as Ferrari won’t be able to spend as much time designing their car as previous years but it sounds like a very easy system to abuse.

LeClerk’a a bit of a whiny bitch isn’t he? His recent moans are really putting me off him.

No different to any other F1 driver who is in with a chance of winning, but things not going their way.

Re: No F1 thread?
Well Karma for Ferrari there. They try to set the rules and they get fucked big time

Excellent race. Hamilton showed his skill again! Some impressive efforts further down the field too.

Bottas showed his skill for the first time since the start of the year. I expected Charles to breeze past him...

I don't know it its his moans so much as that he says a lot more on the radio than other drivers so it seems like he's moaning more.

Re: No F1 thread?
That engine is bailing Ferrari out big time. There’s got to be some very grey area thinking going on in the design of it which considering no one is complaining about anything illegal is a credit to how well Ferrari can interpret the rules.

Re: No F1 thread?
I was just thinking that the rules state the other teams supplied with Ferrari engines must have an identical engine but the Alfa Romeo and Haas don’t seem to have the special qualifying mode Ferrari do?
