Re: FTAO of mobile phone owners/users
Work phone is in a case because I dropped it and cracked the back. Don't want the replacement option as it is worse than what I've got.
Personal phone is in a case and has screen protector. Both came in the box and the former gives it some protection from enthusiastic children's lack of care/fine motor skills the latter was fitted from the factory, so I didn't bother remove it.

My S10 is in a hard case with a wallet on the back, as I don't carry a separate wallet, the case holds 4 cards and 5x£20 notes so it's a good substitute for a wallet.

Dropping a phone on your face is bad. Dropping one on the cat sleeping next to you - yeah, that also gets a reaction.

You couldn't squeeze another £20 note in? They're not exactly thick.

I have used a case since I got a kid.
Re: FTAO of mobile phone owners/users
I’ve used a leather Apple case since they introduced the camera lens bump. It offends me that putting the phone down without a case leaves it balanced on the lens, but also makes it much easier to prop up and watch things on a train table - the leather hits a good balance between slippery and grippy.

Never in a case unless I'm out running and I've got one of those cheap Spigen clear ones just for extra grip and a wee bit of protection if I drop it.
I'm amazed anybody uses a screen protector though, they totally ruin the feel of the screen, never understood how you can get used to that.

The glass ones don’t really. They feel very similar to the glass that’s on your phone already
The horrible plastic, or worse, those kinda gel type ones, those are disgusting

Try doing my job, just keeping a phone in one piece is a battle in itself
