I always forget about the vagaries of the English summer. The seasons are like clockwork here - sadly we're just entering the worst one.

My wife already has Saturday blocked out for watching non-stop coverage of the royal wedding... starting from 9am apparently :?

If I was marrying her, I'd bloody milk the event for all it's worth as well. She's a honey - the ginger done good!

Prepping my track bike for a track day on Tuesday. Guess which fuckwit forgot to fit a new crush washer to the sump plug and now has a small oil leak from the same sump plug?

I'm not remotely interested in the royal wedding but the gutter press really seem to be going after Meghan Markle.

Friday: Swift half in the pub methinks
Saturday: Go through to Scarbs to get Puma lifted, hand over keys etc. Then drive down to Herts from Scarbs to see the missus who's not having a good week.
Sunday: Drive back up.

Think it's going to be a busy one.

In what way? She can move in with me for, y'know, protection and stuff.

Well - as busy as trying to do any two things at opposite ends of the country in two days would be.

They (the Daily Mail especially) have been digging up any piece of dirt they can on her and her family. TBF her family seem to be happy to sell whatever dirt they have as well.

I can't imagine what the Mail would have against a mixed race woman marrying into the Royal Family.

Pfft, they're not opposite ends of the country.....

*checks google maps*

Sigh, actually that's the better part of a quarter of my weekend in the car (around ten hours without traffic).

Oh well. Needs must.

Hey if she's worth it, good on you. Personally I'd rather just have a wank at home

I've just realised that I'll be doing computer things then driving to Herts to see the missus. Am I teh Beany?

I used to have a Titanium Mondeo too. Back in the late unpleasantness.

I've a BBQ on Saturday with some work buddies, but will try and fit in a bit of car shopping in the morning. Sunday is likely to be starting to sort some of the moving boxes from my move 15 months ago that I still haven't unpacked!

Tomorrow night? Probably in front of the piano and Cubase.

Hopefully spend most of the weekend trying to make a dent in the list of about a million things I need to do which is growing quicker than I can tick things off.

As long as the weather is ok Saturday will be ideal with the mrs otherwise occupied with the telly.
Cheers, Harry

Nah, this way she can wash her own curtains.

(she's actually having a rough week, otherwise one night wouldn't be worth it really - she could do with being cheering up by some scottish numpty farting on her cat and telling her she's cool and down with the kids, etc)
