Dont encourage him. He'll be wazzing on about high-speed testing soon.
Evija?

Re: Evija?
Don’t auto express have a reputation for posting a picture “exclusive” that they’ve basically made up and has no reflection on what the car looks like at all?
Re: Evija?
It's no looker. That rear end is an acquired taste, although very functional I suspect.
I'll hold back on placing a deposit for the time being.

Re: Evija?
Henry’s review.
I got to 1m20 when Henry mentions the claimed 0-186mph time of “under 9 seconds”
The Hennessy Viper GT recently recorded 13.6s for the same increment. Yikes.

Re: Evija?
After watching the Henry vid it's really grown on me. Actually think it looks really good now. Hope they flog some...
Send me links to cars for sale with throttle bodies.
Re: Evija?
Much like the McLaren Speedtail, it’s really grown on me. The video provides a much better representation of the surface interplay than the photos do.
From straight ahead and side on I think it looks fantastic. The rear is nothing if not interesting and some of the detailing is great.

"£1.7m + taxis."; it's a rebodied TX?
The vertical middle rear light is the oddest looking thing to me.

Re: Evija?
I like the look of it (although with the panelling at the front - I assumed there was a frunk
) and I hope this is successful for them.
However, I watched it on a big 4K screen and glue around air vents, damage to the “manettino”, the re-alignment of the rear spoiler as it sits in its slot etc just shout not worth £1.75m+taxes to me. I know it’s a pre-prod, but how hard is it to add a switch without damaging it ffs!
The pricing doesn’t fill me with confidence that the next Elise will be less than £60k either.

I get the impression there isn't a working prototype even rolling yet
Re: Evija?
It didn’t seem to be getting much love on twatter last night - mostly around the fact that an all-electric hypercar doesn’t seem to be answering a desire that anyone has voiced (?).
I am not how much this matters in the hypercar space though? If the production version delivers on their 0-186mph claim I am sure they will sell several to those Middle Eastern guys that come over to London every year.

Re: Evija?
These should be poster cars but I can’t gain an ounce of excitement for them. Ridiculous hp and massively over-priced.
Lotus should do cheap lightweight cars again.
Dave!

Re: Evija?
I wonder if this’ll ever make production?
Re: Evija?
Whether it does or doesn't, the sales figures will be the same regardless
Re: Evija?
That's certainly a business plan that has lead to this point.
