Since 'we' now run the forum, please can we have some elected moderators or some such thing, to delete the fucking spam bots etc?

Not looking to have censorship police or anything like. Just have a few regulars to clean out the junk, etc.

Unfortunately, PhpBB is a target for spammers so it's pretty much inevitable now this site is being crawled by Google and other search engines.
Easiest option is to turn on manual authentication of accounts, and as the board is quiet it's probably the simplest.
