Teh Spotted Thread
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Is Nathan having another episode? Or does he think you work for him, or something? I don't get any of it.

It’s bizarre isn’t it!
Re: Teh Spotted Thread

It’s just a perfect shape, paint it purple and I’ll take it with me.
Dave!
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I’ve walked past the front of this bloody 911 for the past 2 weeks. It was only tonight that I parked behind it and noticed it’s fucking retarded third brake light that I realised it’s the new one

I like it.

I like it.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Looks good in murdered out spec where you can’t see any of the details on the rear
Shame you can still see the big angry wart of a third brake light as you noted.
ETA: I do like the RR Phantom sized parking bays in your building!

McLaren 570S with a gold wrap and "cash only" scrawled down the O/S door, badly parked in my local Tesco car park.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Yeh it could be the angle but the row with the 992 in it looks to be a lot wider than all the rest of the bays. Mito will have to get his tape measure out and report back.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Yes it’s quite random with a mix of some normal sized parking and huge spaces because of the spacing of the concrete columns.
Despite the carpark always being mostly empty I can tell you that about 10% of the cars have ruined sides from where owners have grazed the columns whilst parking

As per, the numberplate will need explaining to me.Mito Man wrote: Wed Jun 12, 2019 10:43 pm I’ve walked past the front of this bloody 911 for the past 2 weeks. It was only tonight that I parked behind it and noticed it’s fucking retarded third brake light that I realised it’s the new one

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Saw a Phantom last night with the number plate V12 RRP. Clearly we know that he intends it to mean Rolls Royce Phantom but I can't help but get the feeling everyone will just see recommended retail price

Piers?
G63 is surprisingly on a G63*

*well, a petrol G class, so I assume a 63.
Left over crest; tightens.
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Yes, I thought the owner was very generous to presumably spend a 5 figure sum of money to tell us that the G63 he was driving was actually a G63 as indicated by the G63 badge just beside the plate.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Lovely spec RS6 that Dave spotted - I'd definitely have one on those alloys in that colour.
I think I've spotted my old E34 535i Sport for sale at 4 Star Classics: https://www.4starclassics.com/for-sale/ ... -for-sale/
It has an extra rear brake light in the spoiler and DTM exhaust tips, but the description, mileage etc all tie in otherwise.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
I was actually going to post that the other day, it popped up in an ad somewhere and I thought it might've been your old one.
An absolute unit
Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Almost certainly my old one; the date of registration, mileage, colour and everything I can see about it other than those couple of easy mods are consistent. I bought it for £1800 in 2012, IIRC, sold it for £4k in 2014 so if they get something over £8k now that's probably a fair price.
