My Boxster had £23k of receipts with it, but that was for 120k miles
Your fleet running reports
Re: Your fleet running reports
Picked up a full Prodrive exhaust last night including sportcat downpipe and 3rd Cat delete. Already have the back box so will move on the duplicate. Will be having this fitted soon and the car will get a remap. Can't decide if I want (and can finance) a new bigger turbo and uprated fuel pump at the same time.
I'll be looking at a max of 290bhp on my current Turbo, where as the bigger unit and fuel pump should get about 325bhp, then the gearbox becomes the limiting factor (as I already have an exedy stage 1 clutch).
It will be going in next week for a new set of ball joints or track rods (need to find out which has failed) and an AC re-gas.
I'm going to fit the Brembo pads I have lying around at the weekend.
Carl.

Decisions decisions
Certainly a decent power hike with the bigger turbot, but £morez.

Wanged one of the alloys on my M3 against a kerb today. Bollocks.
The only downside with the Michelin Super Sports is they don't have as much rim protection compared to Goodyears/Vredesteins.
Oh well, the gouge is only about 1" long, so can probably be repaired, rather than the wheel needing a full refurb.

Oui, je suis un motard.

Did the same on the 420 a couple of days ago. What felt like a light scrape has taken a huge chunk out of the rim, BMW alloys are way too soft!Marv wrote: ↑Thu May 10, 2018 1:46 pm Wanged one of the alloys on my M3 against a kerb today. Bollocks.

Re: Your fleet running reports
I missed getting a photo of the BMW reaching 80,000 miles the other day, but I did manage to catch this significant landmark today:
Heh.
Heh.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Short shift fitted last night.
Re: Your fleet running reports
Install wasn't bad, maybe about an hour and a half, yes it will make a notchy shift worse, based on previous lotus experience changing out the cables and having a look at the linkage at the gearbox end will do wonders alongside the shifter...
Re: Your fleet running reports
I think the throw in the 997 is already somewhat shorter than the 6s anyway so perhaps not worth it on my car anyway.
