Sunday Scramble

Post by GG. »

Well... Bicester Heritage today was certainly everything I expected!

I took a leisurely 796 photos (half of which with a three year old on my shoulders...) of which the below are merely a small snapshot. There truly was something for everybody - from modified golfs through to Jaguar D types, RSR 911s, GT40s, the latest Astons, etc. etc. I definitely suggest we organise a forum meet for the late summer instalment.

Nice pics. FiL (lives across the road) wanted to go but couldn't get tickets.

Cracking pictures. Those old 911s just keep looking better with every passing year.
Cheers,

A few short videos too:

Sadly I didn't get any footage of the GT40 being revved up. I was at the front with my son when I he said "wanna see the engine"... a request he quickly came to regret when we moved exhaust side to take a peak through the plexiglass engine cover

Looks amazing. I passed by quite early, about 7:15, so just got a glimpse of a nice old Aston making its way in.

Does the facebook link work for you guys? There are a few more photos on there in addition to those posted above. Including a 114i Rover Metro with an excellent sticker in the rear window noting "you've been Rovertaken" which I properly Lol'd at

It doesn't work for me - probs because I don't have a Facebook account. Any chance you can put them on Dropbox or something and share a link? It looks spectacular.

That's annoying - you used to be able to select "get link" and it would allow anyone (with or without facebook) to access but I don't seem to be able to do that anymore. I think I do have an old dropbox account so will move them across there when I get a chance.

Spectacular. There's something about 512BB that makes it compulsory to photograph them from that exact angle 8-)
