Projectile vomiting

Post by DeskJockey »

Middle one just ejected every last bit of the two meals and snacks he's had today all over himself, his car seat, the mirror and the protective seat cover (praise be to your deity of choice that I had them fitted).

I guess the winding roads of IoW took their toll on him. I now get to take the seat apart, wash and clean things and try to avoid gagging at the smell.

Well the seat has removable covers, so I hope that indicates some thought about cleaning in the design process.

After they do this, they become your wife’s property.

Make sure you check the gaps to the sides of the seats, in the seatbelt clip, the seat runners of the front seats. and all those other nooks and crannies.
Left over crest; tightens.

Dust off and nuke the whole car from orbit - only way to be sure!!

My boy projectile vomited a bag of Spicy Doritos all over our bed, carpet and walls - never seen anything like it.

The problem was exacerbated by the fact our bedroom was completely white - white bedspreads, white carpet, white walls - we had to redecorate

Have been through all the nooks and crannies. Found lots of disgustingness. Covers are in the wash.

Also found a fire engine, a keyring, some costume jewellery, the red Lego Ninjago ninja and another random piece of Lego.

Cool. Think we’ll donate them to the IOW gene pool; it certainly needs a bit more diversity!

If you’re unlucky after norovirus’s 24-72 hour incubation period you too might get such a treat.

It is more likely to be him trying to read/draw while we were driving. As soon as we'd cleaned him (and the car as best possible) he was back to his usual self. He's done it once before (I think we'd collectively repressed the memory), so fingers crossed it isn't the sign of more to come for the rest of us.

It is only a month ago since the last bug he brought home laid me out for most of a week, so I'm not due another one just yet (that's how it works, right?).

Yep... we all thought we had robust immune systems until we regularly encounter toddlers who think nothing of literally coughing in your eye

For 6 months our two snot monsters haven’t had a cough, cold, lurgeys or anything remotely like an illness. Even over Christmas when we all got a cold they were fine. We give them Manuka honey every morning. I think it’s all placebo wishy washy nonsense but if it’s working or not I dare not test it

Maxwell did the same to Treina in a Tesco’s once, I had to buy her all new clothes due to the volume of it. Vile stuff.

Dave!
