The nice thing is, there’s no wrong answer here!
Re: Ferrari Options?
458 speciale. The other 2 don’t press my buttons enough.
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Ferrari Options?
I’d probably just buy the 308, it’ll look good sandwiched between the f40 and f50

So what you’re saying is it will have to stay in the UK to protect its value.SSO wrote: Sun Apr 07, 2019 3:22 pmMarket in the US is behaving a bit differently. Prices on 458s continue to drop (and will likely continue to do so for the next several years), the 430 Scuderia has softened a bit, and 308 GTBs have returned to earth with nice drivers in the US $40-50k range. The other one that is interesting is the F355 which are now also US $50-60k cars.IanF wrote: Sun Apr 07, 2019 8:01 am Since the Pista was announced, there’s been a lot of demand by people looking to complete the full set - CS, Scud & Spec plus Pista, so prices are quite high at the moment. (The same will probably happen when the Pista spider is announced for the 16M and Aperta. )
Do you think demand will continue, or will there be a slight softening? I can see prices reducing in the short term, but then increasing longer term as the F8 specials show up etc.
The 458 is the last Ferrari NA V8, so may have a following, but you won’t get the same return as you potentially can with a special edition.
I’d go for the Scud (unless, with some evonomics, a Speciale became “affordable”.)
Also, I imagine you keep track of auction prices already, but I’ve found the app Hammer Price to be brilliant for this.
I happen to have a spare garage space and am happy to deliver to Heathrow for when you fly in. Honestly, it’s no bother...
Cheers,

Does anyone on this forum actually have a diesel Golf!?240PP wrote: Sun Apr 07, 2019 11:21 amquality.
You would make the forum very happy if you bought a diesel Golf to go with the F40.

The Scud for me too. It would be fun to have a 308 GTB kicking around for a vintage twist but tbh I hate the 70s styling and there the appeal ends. So it comes down to which of 458 or 430 I would rather have and, as others here have eluded to, the Scuderia is a more special car.SSO wrote: Sun Apr 07, 2019 12:08 am What would you rather have a Ferrari 458 Italia and a 308 GTB or a mint 430 Scuderia? Prices on the two options are about the same right now in the US.

Agree that the Scuderia does always feel special.Explosive Newt wrote: Sun Apr 07, 2019 10:02 pmThe Scud for me too.
