Kings Lynn next weekend
My Dad’s off to have a look around the classic car auction. There’s some nice stuff in there:

Lots of interesting stock - I like the look of that 928 S4.
Re: Kings Lynn next weekend
Tidy looking 924S there for peanuts if it goes near the estimate.

I'd have one over an E30 325i and how much would a tidy one of those be now ?
Re: Kings Lynn next weekend
I've always wanted to go to this, but it's too far away

Oui, je suis un motard.
Re: Kings Lynn next weekend
If only you had a fast car, the sort you could jump in and just enjoy the drive over there......
Re: Kings Lynn next weekend
Looks like a total moneypit. No way you'd end up ahead versus a good condition one for £15k
Re: Kings Lynn next weekend
Enjoy the drive to Kings Lynn..... what?
45min from me using the soul destroying A47. I think I'll end up going to PH rolling road day in Norwich on the 13th if I've the chance.

For my virtual budget I'd have the CX, 280SE coupe, 95 estate, Amazon estate, and P1800.
Some rather odd cars in there. Who would want to buy a boggo 90s Passat or the Corsa?

My parents live on the south coast, it’s almost half a day to get there !RobYob wrote: Fri Apr 05, 2019 10:43 pm 45min from me using the soul destroying A47. I think I'll end up going to PH rolling road day in Norwich on the 13th if I've the chance.
He says he’s not going to buy anything, but he’s going by train. Hmmmm.

He has actually - because train ticket pricing makes no sense, a return ticket was literally only ten pence more than a single. A cheap insurance policy in this case !
