Who said it takes a week? Close to a day for a new car detail and 2 days for a proper 2 stage is about right. I guess if you’re really anal you can spend another 2 days doing a wet sand detail and another day on the engine and interior to take it to a working week.

Shouldn't take that long unless the car's a feckin mess and has been washed all it's life with a brillo pad
