Re: FAO Compact Fans
Must be a fucking good hardtop, you can't even see the joins! The car has a black mohair convertible hood and a rare factory fitted silver hard top which accompanies the car.
Re: FAO Compact Fans
Pretty sure those seats aren't original
Wheels definitely not.
If I was going pre-facelift, I would be aiming for that purple colour with a zany interior.

Re: FAO Compact Fans
¿Por qué?
Wheels are from a later car but that doesn't offend me, and if it did it's trivial to fix.
If I was going pre-facelift, I would be aiming for that silver colour with a black interior, the same as all my other cars

Re: FAO Compact Fans
I can't remember seeing MSport seats in a pre-facelift
No doubt you are about to correct me !

Re: FAO Compact Fans
I don't know the answer for sure but I'd be surprised if they weren't an option.
Re: FAO Compact Fans
They're just sport seats, not M-Sport (which didn't exist as a designation in the E46 era, Nath - you know that!)
Plenty of early E46 Compacts have sports seats, often in half-leather form with some wacky colour scheme. I think only the alloys aren't original on that one. Not sure I'd want an auto, though. And the seller wants all the money for it; a facelift manual Sport might be worth that with a low mileage, but not a 2001 SE on the wrong wheels in my book.
ETA: first one I found on AT has sports seats - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified ... 4036569024
... and the second: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified ... 2165000957

Yes for some reason I thought plain black was not an option until the faceliftJobbo wrote: Wed Apr 03, 2019 3:14 pm

That's more than I paid for mine 6 years ago.
Should be on 68s not 97s
I wouldn't want an auto one really - even Monkey thought it spoilt the car - got beaten by a Clio 172 at the Handling Day because of it hunting for gears out the bends

325ti with a failed MOT for £1500 and 63k miles. Checked the last test and it was only on brake lines so probably not too expensive to get back on the road.
Shit. Edited.
