Resigning and not doing something else which would allow the EU to grant us a delay is unlikely. I think she's likely to resign and trigger a general election, and there's not an MP who would vote against that.

What? Why would any tory MP want that if it would put Corbyn in no 10? The TIGgers will lose their seats and the DUP will not contemplate any scenario where Corbyn could win given his links to the IRA. There isn't a majority in the house in my opinion for an election.

If May resigns there would be a tory leadership hustings. It is also not common practice to resign and go for a motion for an election as you're no longer leader - you have to leave that decision to your successor by convention.

The FTPA hasn't been a factor before, so convention be damned.

I suspect May wants to cause as much difficulty as possible now. She is, after all, an acknowledged "Bloody Difficult Woman". I imagine she both wants to resign and cause a delay to Brexit for her successor, but I can't see her trying to revoke Art.50 (she'd ignore the need for the House to approve that, on previous form).

Anyway, only half an hour to wait to find out what it's for.

I think that would be vindictive rather than difficult. I don't think she's that sort of person for all her many faults. As you say, we'll see shortly. Probably another damp squib

I'm not even sure there is a 5pm press conference now. The perils of relying on Twitter for information.

He should arrange some sort of march, to embolden the citizens of this country and unite us all in the dream of independence from Europe...

Worth a read, calling out the architects behind the Brexit mess and their shameful actions (or lack thereof as the case may be).

Not really. The whole thing has been engineered to this outcome. Wear everyone down to the point they lose the will to live. Everyone is a fuckin expert these days on all subjects. Most eye opening for me tho is a dramatic realisation that MPs don't give a fuck about us at all ... not.

I'm bored of the whole thing. Just waiting for the next thing to grasp our media so we all fear about that instead.

I'm sure without the news we will all just be fine without higher blood pressure. #itsallagame

It isn't a game though. Not for the people who are impacted by the changes. You seem resigned to accept a lesser deal, and a poorer and more restricted future, because you're bored by it all? That's scary.
