Cos racecar innit

Looks good in some pics, weird in others - perfectly sums up a 3series ime! 😂

Still, good news for the sport.
Cheers,

"BRITAIN’S PREMIER MOTORSPORT CHAMPIONSHIP"

Is this how people see BTCC then?

Not F3 or F3000?

It has that sort of heavy, unresolved look at the back that you'd see on shit body kits in the more eastern parts of Europe  All the more helped by the oddly small wheels! Maybe get those rear drums painted or even some falsie discies

Yes. BTCC is the biggest uk series by far. Budgets involved to do a season of BTCC is somewhere in the region of £3-400k. Cars cost about £250k to build.

My mate is lead mechanic on one of the Mercedes.

Racing slicks quote the diameter of the tyre in mm not as a percentage of the width.

from Pirelli

TYRE IDENTIFICATION AND MARKING
The markings that appears on the side of the tyres also tells us the basic size of the tyre, the rim diameter and the width of the rim.
We will illustrate how to read two different types of branding that may appear on the side of the tyres.
C: Nominal section width expressed in mm - 190
D: Nominal external diameter expressed in mm - 580
d: Nominal rim diameter of the rim, expressed in inches - 15

Yep.

They broadcast the entire Btcc race day live on free tv, f3 is only ever on a highlight program at some obscure hour.

F3 used to be on the same billing as British gt, btcc and f3/gt were by far the biggest two meetings of the year at any given circuit, ( excluding one offs like f1, silverstone classic etc ) but btcc always had 10x the people there.

BTCC on ITV is brilliant.

This and IOM TT are the only two race series that I religiously follow these days.

A couple of my favorite 'modern' BTCC BMW liveries:

Not relax. Quite the opposite. 8-)

I've not watched much of the BHHCC. A proper saloon is much more to my liking. 8-)

Tbh the BMW Motorsport livery is really quite hard to get wrong, isn't it.
