<Fanboys will point out that Elon has acknowledge the issue this may cause with buyers and is offering full self-drive at just HALF PRICE as a retro upgrade for existing cars. This saves them about 4k>

What's funny is that even the other day Tesla hadn't repriced it's used stock, so a new car was cheaper than a used one.

Oh, and the day after it was announced my local Tesla dealership went up in smoke. Close the showrooms and make people redundant or torch them and claim the insurance ;)

Apple don’t drop the prices of their products.

Surely anyone who’s bought one in the last three years will be hacked off by the fifty grand drop?

Have you seen that pic of the Polestar 2? Tesla have lots to be worried about.

"It was an accidental ignition," the spokeswoman said.

:D

It's actually been confirmed since that the fire wasn't anything to do with the cars or the battery packs, but actually started in a store-room.

And definitely had nothing to do with the 2nd hand prices of S and X that were sat around the dealership. 😉

Only closing half the announced number of stores, prices rising 3% as a result

They can't make up their minds can they? So that £120k Model S that went to £82k ish a couple of weeks ago is now nearly £85k?

Or shall we just play 'pin the tail on the donkey'?

Dynamic pricing doesn't really work as a business model for £100k cars
