Needs a thorough dewaffling. Fine to detail technical bits, not the rest just muddies things.

That looks damn nice and appears to be a very shrewd buy for 20K?

Although what's the current forum view on buying a non-GT3 911 with a GT3 bodykit on it? I'm torn...
Cheers,

Mike.

Factory Aerokit was an option on non-GT3 cars so ok :D

Looks in good shape that car but its top money for a 3.4.

Good luck to him 8-)

That's a bargain at £20k given the condition, upgrades and the work he's had done.

Even more so at the £18k-something he said he'd take for it, if you managed to read that far down.

Mines had similar work, original albeit rebuilt engine.

I personally don’t think it’s worh that, fair play if he gets it, if so that’s another 5 grand on my asking price

You could spend £14k for a 3.4 off Autotrader for one with similar mileage, and easily find you need to spend another £4k on refreshing it and it still won’t be as nice or as well specced as this one.

996's are really starting to age well. I hated them when they first came out, but now... Well, the want is strong, and that is a spectacular example.

I have extensive experience of spending lots on 911’s 😂

This looks interesting. Not sure how effective that top mounted intercooler is going to be without a bonnet scoop...

Also intrigued that it has the Pulsar chassis, but no mention of how it's been done?

It’s so easy to spend money on them; they’re all at an age where they’ve become rolling restoration. I sold mine at £14k (advertised for £16k, really wanted £14.5k, but I was ‘on the clock’ to complete the GT3 purchase so let it go for £14k). Before selling it I was quoted £1.5-1.8k to tidy up bodywork (repaint front & rear bumpers, driver’s door, front arches rust - I didn’t do the work and opted to sell ‘as is’) and my car had not had any suspension refresh (17 yo, 89k miles) so that could easily be another £2k.

Looking back, I was very lucky to have found the ‘right’ buyer and sold the car within 4 days.

My pal sold the car above for £19k in the end.

Edit to add, these 996s are great for DIYers though if you have the skills, time and space, as my pal, and Sundayjumper etc proved.

This is lovely and I love the colour combo.

£13850 for a 114k miles car seems rather a lot though.
